Finance Manager (Chemical Distribution MNC)

The Company

Our client is a privately owned company in the Chemical industry. Keen to hire a hands-on and results-driven Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of Finance & Accounting operations for largely a Singapore portfolio.

Requirements

• ACCA/ Degree qualified, at least 8 years of experience focusing on full spectrum Finance & Accounting operations role in the commercial sector.
• Ideally to be from Chemical Distribution, Trading or Manufacturing sectors
• Exposure in Transfer Pricing /BEPS can be advantageous
• To have liaised with regional entities and/or worked on regional projects
• Managerial experience
• SAP R3, FICO or S4 Hana exposure
• Desired traits:Hands-on, highly flexible and adaptable, proactive, good communication skills, resourceful, ability to work in a less structured and lean environment (Singapore office has 15 headcount currently)

Budget

SGD 9,000 - SGD 12,500 per month + bonus

Job Scope

Reporting to the General Manager and Regional Head of Finance & Commercial, you will manage 1 staff and be responsible for the full spectrum of Finance portfolio including accounting operations, monthly closing, financial and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, tax (including transfer pricing, GST, corporate tax), intercompany reconciliations, internal control and audit. The main focus of this portfolio is on Singapore which is the regional office and supply chain hub, at the same time you will also liaise with other subsidiaries and entities globally. You will also support the GM in liaising with outsourced vendors on IT and HR (payroll) matters.
