Hawksman Technology is currently partnering with a high-performing, crypto-native proprietary trading firm and hedge fund looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their growing team.
This is a key position working closely with the CFO, supporting the firm's financial operations, reporting, and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced trading environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Analyse financial performance, identify trends/variances, and provide actionable insights
- Support budgeting and develop financial models for decision-making
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury operations, optimising efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain strong internal controls
- Support audits and work closely with external auditors
- Improve operational efficiency through process enhancements and automation initiatives
- Assist with investor reporting and manage investor onboarding processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a Finance Manager role within buy-side firms (crypto exposure a plus)
- Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; Python or programming experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA is a plus
