Assist with cashflow

Assist with internal control

Manage inventory

Co-ordinate automation of accounts payable processing and payment

Accounts Payable - Local and Overseas Creditors

Provide support to Accounts Receivable Person.

A back-up on all Accounts matters, Shipping and Administration.

Reconcile Credit Cards and follow up with Cardholders

Provide information to Overseas Suppliers

Update various Sales Reports

Computer back-up matters. Report IT issues & follow up

General Account Reconciliation

Letter of Credit and Trade Finance

Preparation of adhoc reports e.g. projects, costings

Month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting

Assist Financial Manager with reports and projects

Prepare and file GST

Prepare Payroll, CPF and FWL accurately and on time

Manage fixed assets and ensure general ledger accuracy

Contribute to policy development, compliance, and system improvements

Assist with internal and external audit processes

Identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation in financial operation

Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with stakeholders.

Continuously improve financial and accounting processes

Other duties as directed

Skills and Knowledge

. Technical Proficiency: Utilize and maintain proficiency in accounting software, intermediate/Pro Excel skills and Quickbooks/Xero skills or ability to upskill in Quickbooks.

. Reconciliations: Understand the reconciliation process and the importance of accurate coding.

. Process Improvements and automation: Willingness to participate and contribute to process automation, analytics, and improving efficiencies within the accounting function.

. Software Proficiency: Well-developed skills and demonstrated experience with a large FMIS, as well as exposure to Quickbooks or a willingness to take Xero/Quickbooks training, and strong Excel skills.

. People skills: Ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and adapt to current ways of working. We place high value on professionalism and respectfulness, and we're seeking someone who lives those values every day.
