Finance Manager, Asset Management

Our client is an established asset management firm with multi-investment strategy such as hedge funds, venture capital funds etc. They have a strong track record in the region and as the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Finance Manager to cover corporate accounting for the firm entity. This role is based in Singapore and will report to CEO.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for management account monthly closing for management group companies;
• Prepare and review quarterly financial reports for hedge fund and venture capital funds entities
• Liaise with auditors to prepare and manage audit
• liaise with regulators on statutory reporting, annual survey etc
• Manage cashflow, expense payments, cash assets and distributions across entities
• Liaise with tax agents on tax submission for the firm
• Coordinate with HR to review and manage payroll
• Liaise with lawyers and corporate secretary
• Other ad-hoc finance duties when necessaries

Key requirements

• At least 5 years corporate accounting experience in asset management / fund management industry
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other accounting qualifications.
• Qualified Accountant / CPA is preferred
• Detailed-oriented, multi-tasking, motivated
• Analytical, organized, independent
• Good communication skills, ability to work effectively with the senior management
