Our client is a Singapore HQ organisation with strong presence in APAC in the Real Estate sector. They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead its finance and accounting function across region. This is a regional, hands-on finance leadership role covering markets including Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan and other APAC countries .
This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys regional exposure, commercial partnering, technical accounting and building scalable finance processes. You will have the opportunity to shape how finance operates across APAC, working closely with country leaders and senior management as the business continues to expand into new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Finance & Reporting – Lead financial reporting, month-end close, consolidation, management reporting and technical accounting matters.
- Commercial Finance & Business Partnering – Analyse profitability, cash flow, operational performance and business trends to provide insights that influence management decisions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting – Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process across the region and provide meaningful variance analysis.
- Treasury & Tax – Oversee cash flow, FX exposure, taxation, GST/VAT and relationships with external tax advisors.
- Governance & Controls – Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, processes and financial governance across multiple entities.
- Regional Expansion – Support new country and legal entity set-ups as the business expands across APAC.
- Finance Transformation – Lead initiatives around process standardisation, automation, ERP implementation and finance transformation.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of finance and accounting experience within commercial real estate, REITs, property, infrastructure or related sectors with CPA / CA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
- Prior experience in Big 4 audit is highly preferred
- Experience managing multiple entities and jurisdictions
- Strong technical accounting, reporting and internal controls knowledge
- Experience with ERP implementation, finance transformation or process improvement
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with senior leadership
