Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, and business partnering activities across a regional multi-entity organization.

Working closely with business leaders, this role will drive profitability, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making across Singapore and Malaysia operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full spectrum of finance functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management across multiple entities.
  • Lead financial consolidation and ensure timely and accurate management reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthen internal controls and financial governance processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, support commercial decisions, and improve business performance.
  • Monitor key business metrics, including revenue, margins, productivity, and profitability.
  • Support pricing decisions, client proposals, contract reviews, and business growth initiatives.
  • Lead annual budgeting and forecasting exercises, including variance analysis and performance reviews.
  • Oversee finance and payroll operations across Singapore and Malaysia and work closely with regional teams to drive process improvements.
  • Lead and mentor finance teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CA, CPA, or ACCA qualification preferred.
  • 5-8 years of relevant finance experience, including Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or commercial finance.
  • Experience managing regional finance operations and multi-country payroll functions.
  • Prior exposure to recruitment, outsourcing, staffing, or professional services environments would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, payroll accounting, project costing, and client billing processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems/ERP platforms.
  • Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
