Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts for the Singapore entity to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation to support business decision-making.
- Review subsidiary accounts and perform monthly group consolidation to ensure consolidated financial accuracy.
- Prepare and file quarterly GST returns in compliance with Singapore tax regulations.
- Prepare annual statutory financial statements and complete XBRL filings to meet regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, including working capital and intercompany loan balances, to maintain financial stability.
- Liaise with bankers on trade financing and banking facilities to optimize funding arrangements.
- Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and ESG consultants to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy.
- Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and compliant with statutory and internal reporting standards.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned to support the finance team and organizational goals.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Audit experience is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in monthly group consolidation and Singapore statutory reporting.
- Good knowledge of Singapore GST, statutory financial reporting, and XBRL filing requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ABSS Accounting Software is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
