We are currently working with a Real Estate Private Equity firm that is investing across Asia. They are looking for a Finance Manager who will be responsible for corporate and fund level finance management.
Please note that this is a 9-months contract role.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be accountable for financial reporting, forecasting, and overall finance management across various entities:
Key Responsibilities
- Support the timely and accurate preparation or review of monthly, quarterly, and statutory financial statements for corporate and fund entities in line with applicable accounting standards.
- Review financial reports submitted by select portfolio companies, investigate discrepancies, and ensure sound financial governance at the entity level.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes, including liaising with auditors and reviewing audited statements.
- Participate in annual budgeting and reforecasting activities, including compiling budget data and performing variance analyses.
- Review tax computations and filings for relevant entities and support group-level tax filing processes.
- Work with external tax advisors to manage compliance, resolve issues, and handle tax planning initiatives including transfer pricing and restructuring.
- Support day-to-day treasury functions including bank account administration, cash flow monitoring, and liquidity planning.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience; exposure to private equity or real estate sectors is advantageous.
- Strong technical expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and/or Japan GAAP.
- Familiarity with tax regulations in key jurisdictions such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Yardi or similar accounting software is a plus.
