- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the finance team to ensure consistent performance and development.
- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger, month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Supervise Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable processes, cashflow monitoring, and working capital management.
- Prepare monthly management reporting, financial statements, cashflow reporting, and forecasts within agreed timelines.
- Support the annual budgeting cycle and develop yearly forecasts.
- Calculate and administer sales commission payouts in accordance with internal policies.
- Ensure compliance with GST and tax obligations coordinate submissions and liaise with auditors, banks, and other relevant parties.
- Review and process bank-related documentation such as bank guarantees (BG) and letters of credit (LC) applications.
- Compile and submit required government statistical returns and related filings.
- Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks and projects as assigned.
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- At least 4 years of experience in Finance and Accounting with 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in financial management within the Life Science industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (SAP, Sage).
