Finance & Investment Intern - Job Description
Our client are looking for a proactive and driven Finance & Investment Intern to join the team. In this role, you will gain hands-on exposure to financial planning, investment evaluation, and client advisory support. You will work closely with our managers to analyse financial data, prepare reports, and assist in developing investment insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Support financial consultants in preparing client portfolios, investment summaries, and comparison reports.
- Assist in analysing market trends, product performance, and economic updates to support advisory recommendations.
- Participate in research on investment products such as funds, insurance solutions, and wealth management tools.
- Help prepare presentation materials, proposal slides, and financial illustrations for client meetings.
- Maintain and update internal databases, including client information, performance tracking, and administrative records.
- Attend team discussions, training sessions, and client appointments when required to gain real-world exposure.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support ad-hoc tasks assigned by mentors.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or completed A-Level, Diploma, or Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields.
- Strong interest in wealth management, financial planning, investments, or advisory work.
- Good analytical ability and willingness to learn financial tools and frameworks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a positive learning attitude.
