Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern. This internship will provide hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and other key areas of finance, giving you the opportunity to enhance your skills and build your career in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

. Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and budgets.

. Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and financial modeling.

. Help with the preparation and reconciliation of accounts.

. Support the month-end and year-end close processes.

. Assist in data entry and maintain accurate financial records.

. Assist in preparing presentations for internal stakeholders.

. Research and analyze financial data to support decision-making processes.

. Support the team with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks.

. Monitor and track expenses and assist in forecasting future costs.

. Help with audit preparation and compliance documentation.

Requirements / Qualifications:

. Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.

. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.

. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (knowledge of financial modeling is a plus).

. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

. A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for learning.

. Past related experience in finance or accounting such as out-of-school experiences like prior internships will make your application stand out.

. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

. Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

. Internship duration should be around 6 to 12 months full time.
