Finance, Accounts Receivable (AR) Intern

Join our Finance team as an Accounts Receivable (AR) Intern and gain valuable hands-on experience in finance operations, billing processes, and customer account management within the healthcare industry.
What You Will Do
- Assist in preparing and issuing customer invoices accurately and timely
- Track incoming payments and update accounting records in the finance system
- Support follow-up on overdue invoices and outstanding balances
- Perform customer account reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepancies
- Maintain proper AR documentation, records, and filing systems
- Assist with monthly closing activities and preparation of AR reports
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders on billing and payment-related matters
- Support finance administrative duties and data entry tasks
- Assist the team in year-end audit preparation and documentation
What We Are Looking For
Must Have:
- Basic understanding of accounting or finance principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail with good accuracy in work
- Good analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and take initiative
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Good to Have:
- Candidates pursuing Accounting, Finance, Business, or related disciplines
- Prior internship, project, or part-time experience in finance or accounting is an advantage
- Familiarity with accounting systems or ERP software will be a plus
