Our client is an established international not-for-profit organisation with a significant presence across the APAC region. As the organisation seeks to professionalise and modernise, there is now an opportunity for an accomplished Finance & HR Director, to join their Singapore office, in an APAC capacity.
Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee the finance function across APAC, with responsibility for financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Working closely with outsourced vendors across the region, you will ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial statements while overseeing tax, audit and regulatory matters. You will also manage capital expenditure and risk management initiatives, partnering closely with internal stakeholders to align financial priorities with the broader organisational strategy. Beyond Finance, you will lead the regional HR agenda, encompassing recruitment and onboarding, employment contracts, training and development, employee benefits, payroll and HR reporting. Working with legal counsel and external service providers, you will ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation across Singapore and other key APAC markets. You will also oversee Singapore office operations, including facilities and vendor management, workplace health and safety, technology resources and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
Ideally, you are an accomplished finance professional with between 15 and 20 years of relevant experience. You have developed a broad remit spanning finance, HR and operational responsibilities. You possess strong knowledge of Singapore finance and employment regulations, coupled with the ability to navigate requirements across multiple APAC markets. You are commercially astute, hands-on and comfortable operating within a lean international organisation where you will need to balance strategic priorities with operational execution. You have strong stakeholder management capabilities, together with excellent communication and organisational skills. Adaptable and solutions-oriented, you operate with a high degree of integrity and sound judgement and are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic regional environment.
