Job Description

Overview:

Maintain full set of Cathedral Accounts and specific Funds (e.g. WAC, Property, PKH and various funds). Reviews and partial posts for SAC.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review and posting of accurate entries to all SAC accounts (Tithes/collections, Carpark reconciliation, Weekly update of fees collected for courses and specific collections)

  • Prepare monthly Bank Reconciliations

  • Perform monthly closing financial entries for some entities

  • Maintain Fixed Assets in FA Module

  • Attend and assist with weekly count of tithes and offerings

  • Assist with yearly audit

  • Help to manage online payment request form

  • Attend and assist with Finance & Property Committee monthly meeting (minute-taking, meeting secretariat)

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Assist with yearly PKH internal audit

  • Provides support for SAC events as required

Requirements:

  • Singaporeans and PRs only

  • Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related fields.

  • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a non-profit or multi-entity environment.

  • At least 1 year of experience volunteering or working in church.

Salary will commensurate with qualifications and work experience.
