Job Responsibilities
- Process staff expense claims and ensure supporting documentation is complete and compliant with company policies
- Handle Accounts Payable including invoice verification, recording and payment processing
- Assist with inter-company transactions recording and monitoring when required
- Prepare and process bank payments and maintain payment records
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records
- Assist in posting accounting entries and maintaining accounting schedules
- Support month-end closing activities
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and service providers when required
- Perform other ad-hoc finance or administrative tasks assigned
Qualification Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 4 years Accounting related work experience in sizable company
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Responsible and well organized
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Background of general accounting/financial reporting experience
- Familiar with Singapore tax handling practice
- Strong knowledge of local Accounting Operations & Practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English in order to manage teams overseas.
- Fluent verbal Chinese communication skills in order to engage internal stakeholders.
