Job Description

  • Handle month-end closing and prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
  • Prepare financial reports covering sales, cost of sales and intercompany balances/transactions.
  • Perform SAP month-end activities, including service order settlement, service cost allocation and COPA cycle processing.
  • Reconcile financial statements against COPA reports and prepare sales and gross profit reports.
  • Prepare and review accruals, provisions and stock impairment provisions.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Create and maintain customer and vendor master data, including intercompany business partners.
  • Support annual statutory audits by preparing audit schedules and supporting documents.
  • Provide accounting, bookkeeping and tax compliance support for the oversea branch, including annual financial finalisation and tax filings.
  • Ensure financial reporting activities are performed in accordance with IFRS requirements.
  • Support J-SOX/internal control compliance and maintain the required documentation.
  • Prepare government surveys and regulatory submissions.
  • Develop and update SOPs to strengthen finance processes and internal controls.
  • Participate in finance system enhancements, UAT and process improvement projects.
  • Support inventory stock counts, fixed asset verification and other ad-hoc finance activities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in financial accounting, GL and month-end closing.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with SAP COPA / cost allocation / service order settlement will be advantageous.
  • Exposure to intercompany accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Experience supporting tax, audit and statutory compliance matters.
  • Prior exposure to regional or overseas entities/branches will be an advantage.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and manage reporting deadlines.
