The Accounting Assistant will provide support to the finance team by ensuring accurate processing of invoices, maintaining proper documentation, and assisting with accounting operations. The role involves close coordination with internal teams and external parties to support daily accounting activities and monthly closing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance, including matching invoice amounts with purchase orders and confirming goods receipt in the accounting system before posting.
Assist with the monthly processing of intercompany and vendor invoices in the accounting system.
Retrieve, organize, and maintain physical and electronic documents for audits, monthly reporting, and other business requirements.
Support accounts receivable activities, including related administrative and reconciliation tasks.
Communicate and liaise with external parties such as vendors and auditors when required.
Assist in the preparation of financial and management reports.
Participate in testing for system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
At least 1 year of experience using SAP
Minimum 1 year of Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable (AP) experience.
