Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the monthly closing of accounts and ensure timely preparation of financial reports for management.
Prepare monthly management reports and presentations (including financial and business performance analysis).
Support management decision-making with in-depth analyses
Reconcile medical insurance claims to payment reports/collections and liaise with clinic operations teams to resolve rejected claims.
Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
Prepare and submit annual statutory accounts in compliance with statutory requirements.
Prepare and file quarterly GST returns
Review annual corporate tax computations prepared by tax agent.
Prepare relevant financial reports and presentations for Annual General Meetings.
Liaise with auditors in relation to annual statutory audits.
Assess current practices and processes and make recommendations for improvements.
Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent
Professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA) will be an added advantage
3-6 years of relevant experience
Good problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills
Conscientious and meticulous
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Xero accounting software and clinics/retail industries will be an advantage
