Finance Executive

We are looking for a disciplined Finance Executive to manage our core accounting functions. While the initial focus is on mastering the transactional lifecycle (AR, AP, and Month-End), this role has the potential to progress towards strategic reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable: End-to-end processing of vendor invoices, expense claims, and payment cycles.
2. Accounts Receivable: Accurate invoicing, payment application, and proactive aging management/collections.
3. Full Set Closing: Preparation of month-end journals (accruals, prepayments) and bank reconciliations to ensure a clean General Ledger.
4. Compliance: Assist with tax filings preparation.
5. Evolutionary Tasks: As you master the basics, you will take on variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, and process automation projects.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of finance experience in the retail/healthcare industry preferred.

• Candidates with relevant experience will be considered for a senior position.

• Degree/Diploma in Finance/Accounting and proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).

• Experience with Xero will be an advantage.

• Capability: High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict month-end deadlines.

• Aptitude: A logical thinker who looks beyond data entry to understand the business impact.

• Attitude: Proactive, resilient, and eager to transition from doing to analyzing.
