Job Description

Finance Executive

Job Summary

The Finance Executive will primarily support the Accounts Payable (AP)and Operating Expenses functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices,payments, and expense reporting. The role provides opportunities forcross-functional exposure and job rotation into other finance areas, includingAccounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and audit support, to supportprofessional development and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (Primary Focus)

  • Process supplier invoices, employee expense claims, and payment requests accurately and promptly.
  • Verify supporting documents and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare payment runs and maintain vendor records.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of AP records.

Operating Expenses

  • Review, verify, and record operating expenses in the accounting system.
  • Monitor expense submissions and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.
  • Assist in monthly expense accruals and reconciliations.
  • Prepare expense analysis and reports for management review.
  • Support budget monitoring and expense tracking activities.

Audit and Compliance Support

  • Assist in preparing schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit purposes.
  • Support compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in responding to auditor queries and requests.

Job Rotation and Development Opportunities

  • Support Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations, as required.
  • Gain exposure to month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Participate in finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Undertake job rotation within the Finance department to develop broader accounting and finance competencies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, AP, or finance operations.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities through job rotation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
