Finance Executive
Job Summary
The Finance Executive will primarily support the Accounts Payable (AP)and Operating Expenses functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices,payments, and expense reporting. The role provides opportunities forcross-functional exposure and job rotation into other finance areas, includingAccounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, and audit support, to supportprofessional development and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (Primary Focus)
- Process supplier invoices, employee expense claims, and payment requests accurately and promptly.
- Verify supporting documents and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare payment runs and maintain vendor records.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of AP records.
Operating Expenses
- Review, verify, and record operating expenses in the accounting system.
- Monitor expense submissions and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.
- Assist in monthly expense accruals and reconciliations.
- Prepare expense analysis and reports for management review.
- Support budget monitoring and expense tracking activities.
Audit and Compliance Support
- Assist in preparing schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit purposes.
- Support compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in responding to auditor queries and requests.
Job Rotation and Development Opportunities
- Support Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations, as required.
- Gain exposure to month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Participate in finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Undertake job rotation within the Finance department to develop broader accounting and finance competencies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, AP, or finance operations.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities through job rotation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
