Manage full sets of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations, with strong prudence and attention to detail.
Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control policies.
Take ownership of month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data.
Collaborate closely with different departments to support business operations, provide financial insights, and ensure proper cost allocation.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to assist management in sound decision-making.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external parties on statutory and audit matters.
Perform intercompany reconciliations and assist in group consolidation activities when required.
Demonstrate learning agility by adapting to new systems, processes, and accounting standards.
Be hands-on in resolving accounting issues and driving process improvements for greater efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in handling full sets of accounts.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and local tax regulations.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g. MYOB, Oracle, Xero, or Workday) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a high level of accuracy.
Hands-on, responsible, and able to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
Demonstrates prudence, learning agility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Able to work independently and meet tight reporting deadlines.
