He is also the President and Abbot of the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum. - To provide accessible and affordable medical care to the less fortunate - home hospice care for the terminally ill and day rehabilitative services for elderly and stroke patients
- To provide disability care, respite care, residential care and training for the intellectually disabled

- To develop and provide such forms of medical care and welfare services as required by the community
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Executive to support the financial and administrative operations of Metta Home and HDAC. The incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day finance functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage petty cash and verify staff reimbursement claims to ensure accurate expense tracking and compliance
- Prepare and submit ERF and Purchase Orders (PO) to vendors to facilitate timely procurement and payment processes
- Prepare payment vouchers, cheques, and ACH payments for the Centre to ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds
- Handle billing of invoices and issuance of credit notes for inter-centre transactions to maintain accurate financial records
- Issue receipts for donations, fees, transport charges, and refundable deposits, and update the daily collection book to ensure accurate revenue tracking
- Scan and maintain soft copies of monthly payment vouchers for ACH transactions to support audit readiness and record keeping
- Perform counting and reconciliation of donation box collections to ensure accuracy and accountability of funds received
- Manage fixed assets records and conduct annual fixed assets sighting to maintain accurate asset tracking and compliance
- Support reimbursement claims for the Happee Hearts project (2-year duration) to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Provide financial administrative support to the Manager for Disability Care services to facilitate smooth financial operations
- Provide backup finance support for IDAC when required to ensure continuity of finance functions
- Support and attend fundraising and centre activities as needed to contribute to organizational initiatives
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management to support operational effectiveness
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Conversant in multiple languages and dialects, supporting effective communication within diverse community settings
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders
- Exhibit hardworking, meticulous, and responsible work ethic to ensure accuracy and reliability
