Finance Executive
Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Reporting
. Assist in maintaining the full set of accounts, including preparation of journal entries, AP/AR entries, and bank reconciliations.
. Ensure accurate and timely recording of accounting transactions in the accounting system.
. Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
. Prepare reconciliation schedules for bank balances, payables, receivables, and other key financial accounts.
. Maintain proper financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and local accounting standards.
. Assist in preparing management reports and financial schedules.
. Provide supporting documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
. Assist in preparing ad hoc financial reports when required.
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
. Assist in managing billing, collections, and payment processes.
. Prepare vendor payments and provide payment advice when required.
. Process and verify employee expense claims in accordance with company policies.
. Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
. Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist in collection follow-ups with internal stakeholders and clients.
. Ensure accurate recording of revenue and expenses for projects and campaigns.
Taxation & Compliance
. Assist in preparing corporate income tax schedules and supporting documents for tax filing.
. Support the finance team in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
Financial Systems & Process Support
. Utilize SAP and other financial systems for accounting transactions and reporting.
. Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of financial data in the system.
. Assist in identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
. Work closely with internal departments to support financial information requests.
Financial Planning & Analysis Support
. Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
. Support the finance team in cost tracking and profitability analysis.
. Prepare basic financial analysis to support business and operational decision-making.
Requirements:
. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage).
. Minimum 1-2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
. Experience working for MNCs with dynamic ERP system.
. Proficiency in SAP is required.
. Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, law & regulations, corporate income tax, sales and cost accounting, and AR/AP processes.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
. Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
. Experience in the advertising, media, marketing services, or service industry will be an advantage.
