Role Summary

The Finance Executive acts as the operational lead for the organisation's financial administration and strategic reporting. Sitting within the Strategic Finance department, you will drive the day-to-day management of accounts, budget tracking, and financial compliance to support the firm's growth.

This role focuses on the end-to-end execution of financial processes, from basic bookkeeping to complex budget monitoring. You will act as a primary partner to the CFO, ensuring all internal financial controls are maintained and all spendings align with approved forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Operations & Reporting

. Accounts Management: Drive the daily processing of accounts payable and receivable, ensuringaccuracy in all ledger entries.
. Budget Tracking: Monitor and track expenditure across departments, identifying variances in marketing and culture budgets before reporting to the CFO.
. Payroll & CPF Support: Assist in the administration of monthly salaries, including the accurate calculation of Employee CPF contributions and tax withholdings.
. Invoice Verification: Review and validate all vendor invoices, ensuring they meet qualitystandards and project scopes before submission for CFO approval.

2. Regulatory & Tax Compliance

. Tax Administration: Manage documentation for personal income tax withholdings and corporatetax filings in accordance with IRAS requirements.
. Audit Readiness: Collate and format all relevant financial records and receipts required for annual audits or ad-hoc regulatory reviews.
. Statutory Compliance: Ensure all financial activities align strictly with the Singapore Companies Act and the Employment Act.

3. Commercial & Departmental Collaboration

. Stakeholder Support: Liaise with the Brand & Culture Manager to verify expenditure on employee experience initiatives and external agency fees.
. Sales Alignment: Collaborate with the Sales & Growth team to track client payment milestones and onboarding financial data.
. Quality Control: Rigorously quality check all financial reports and presentations to ensure brand alignment and tone match corporate identity.

Key Stakeholders

. Chief Financial Officer (CFO): Direct supervisor and final authority for allfinancial approvals, budgets and invoices.
. Brand & Culture Manager: Primary collaborator for tracking marketing agencyspend and internal event logistics.
. Sales & Growth Team: Partners for revenue tracking and client billing queries.

Requirements

. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or corporate treasury roles.
. Technical Background: Proficiency in accounting software and Excel is essential a backgroundin the tech or cybersecurity industry is an advantage but not required.
. Communication: Exceptional storytelling and reporting skills in British English to present financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
. Attention to Detail: Ability to quality-check financial work rigorously (typos, decimal accuracy, and brand alignment) before presenting to the CFO.
. Process-Oriented: Comfortable working in a structure where final financial authority is centralised, whilst taking full ownership of preparatory work.
