Finance Director

Our Client

Our client is in the service and hospitality sector and its majority owner is a REIT listed on SGX. They are looking for an experienced Finance Director to oversee the finance and procurement functions of this Singapore entity.

Your Role

Reporting to the CEO, you shall be responsible for the efforts and results of the finance & procurement departments with support of a sizeable team members. Managing and overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process including effective planning, guidelines and assumptions mangement reporting and review and finalise daily reconciliation month-end closing activities and ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated monthly and annual financial statements and reports in accordance with the regulated guidelines.

You are expected to be the business partner to CEO for providing financial ingishts and drive digitalisation of Finance processes for developing, streamlinine and enhancing financial management and reporting processes. Liaising with external auditors and tax agents for statutory reporting purposes.

Your Profile

• A minimum of 12 years of Finance & Accounting experience with demonstrated track record in a leadership capacity and in a digitalised accounting environment.
• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or equivalent.
• Hands-on with finance & accounting operations.
• Highly proficient with MS Excel for dashboard reporting and management presentation decks (Able to create value-adding Excel reports through use of visual and graphical skills).
• An astute leader with proven people management skills.
• Highly organised with good project management and analytical skills.
• A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data.
• Comfortable with the use of technology, social media and paperless business processes.
• Experienced in ERP systems and other evolving digital processing systems.
• Exposure in reviewing tenders, purchase requisition process.
