Job Description
Reporting to the VP, Corporate Finance and Legal, the incumbent provides managerial leadership to the Regional Finance Team to maintain accurate accounting records that meet statutory requirements and for delivering financial analysis and recommendations to management to help achieve the division financial outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure internal accounting policies align with statutory requirements.
- Oversee accurate and timely month-end/ year-end closing and financial statements, and categorization of fixed and intangible assets at HQ, BU, facility and product levels.
- Prepare monthly divisional and company-level reports. Highlight any financial discrepancies and abnormalities and investigate causes.
- Lead and manage the regional Finance team and work with external tax consultants if needed on tax-related activities, including annual fillings, transfer pricing and VAT, coordinating with external consultants when necessary.
- Lead AR and AP team in providing on-time reporting to management, work with BUs to monitor the overdue status at a low level and ensure payment to be made on time.
- Lead to have proper cash management and asset management
- Plan and accountable for the entire audit cycle review and finalize audited financial statements to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with Corporate functions and BUs to submit budget plan on people and other costings; review & clarify with stakeholders to align budget
- Liaise with insurance companies on annual insurance review except on people related matters.
- Foster collaborative teamwork, support team members development, succession planning and career growth.
Key requirements
- Bachelor degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; Holder of CPA or ACCA is required
- Minimum 12 years of experience in accounting related fields with at least 5 years in managerial role gained from MNCs; candidates with audit experience are preferred.
- Proven experience in leading and developing finance teams, with strong mentoring and team-building skills.
- Experience in using ERP system is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, enabling efficient use of essential financial tools and systems.
- Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
