About the Role
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Director / CFO to lead the finance function and drive strategic financial management across the business. This is a critical leadership role reporting to the CEO/Managing Director, with broad oversight beyond traditional finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall finance function, including financial planning, reporting, controlling, and treasury
- Drive project finance strategy and execution — structuring, financing, and risk management for large-scale capital/project investments
- Oversee Procurement, ensuring cost efficiency, vendor management, and supply chain financial controls
- Lead IT function, ensuring systems infrastructure supports business and finance operation
- Oversee Payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
- Drive and own SAP implementation/ optimization, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure successful rollout and adoption
- Lead a team of 16, with 5 direct reports, fostering a high-performance finance organizations
- Partner with the executive leadership team on business strategy, M&A, and long-term financial planning
- Ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and governance across all entities
Candidate Profile
- 12–15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing/industrial environment
- Strong, demonstrated project finance background (capex-heavy projects, financing structures, risk assessments) - this is a must have requirement
- Proven experience managing finance, procurement, IT, and payroll
- Hands-on experience with SAP implementation
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Professional finance qualification
