Job Summary
As a Finance Director at Procter & Gamble, you will be a strategic partner driving financial analysis and decision-making within sales and customer teams. You will co-lead strategic initiatives and execute sales fundamentals to deliver balanced value creation while ensuring financial stewardship and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Co-lead strategic decision-making and end-to-end execution across customer teams to achieve positive, balanced value creation
- Provide actionable financial insights and detailed analysis to support sales fundamentals such as pricing, promotion, trade terms, and retailer margin optimization
- Lead the Finance team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals
- Drive joint business planning with customers by delivering financial analysis that supports value creation and business growth
- Ensure financial stewardship and compliance by enforcing adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
- Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes for sales and customer teams to support informed decision-making
- Analyze financial performance data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to influence business decisions and optimize financial outcomes
- Continuously monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in sales finance and customer team functions to inform strategy
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, sales finance, or related roles, preferably within a multinational company or FMCG industry
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills demonstrated through proficient use of Excel and other data analysis tools
- In-depth understanding of sales fundamentals including pricing, promotion, and trade terms
- Knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and financial compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills demonstrated by effective cross-functional teamwork and influencing sales organization decisions
- Proven ability to manage complex financial analyses, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines consistently
- Leadership skills with the capacity to influence stakeholders at various organizational levels
