Job Title: Finance Director (Non-China Operations)

Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Finance Director to assume full scope financial controllership and strategic oversight for all non-China operations. Based in Singaporethe designated future international headquarters of this dynamic Chinese enterprisethe successful candidate will act as the central financial authority for the company's global business outside China. This role is pivotal in driving financial discipline, operational excellence, and cross-border compliance across the Group's international asset portfolio in the fast-evolving heavy-asset sector .
The Finance Director will lead with a holistic view of finance functions, integrating accounting, controlling, treasury, tax, and performance management to enable sound strategic decisions and scalable growth in overseas markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the end-to-end finance function for overseas entities, acting as the primary custodian of financial integrity and governance. Establish and maintain robust internal control frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation across jurisdictions.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes for all international projects. Ensure timely delivery of consolidated financial statements and management reports aligned with IFRS or other relevant local GAAP. Standardize reporting practices across regions to enhance transparency and comparability.
- Drive the group-wide budgeting and rolling forecast cycles for overseas operations. Develop and monitor KPIs and financial models to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that support strategic planning and investment decisions. Conduct in-depth variance analyses and present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Oversee all aspects of international tax planning, filing, and compliance. Proactively manage country-specific tax risks.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing regional finance team. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing. Act as a key business partner to regional executive teams and HQ stakeholders, facilitating alignment between finance strategy and operational goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Recognized international accounting qualification required
- Solid experience spanning both Big 4/mid-tier accounting firms and multinational/large-scale corporations in a heavy-asset industry (e.g., Data Centers, Infrastructure, Energy, Industrial Real Estate).
- Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication with both China HQ and international stakeholders.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive post-qualification experience in finance/accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a regional or cross-border leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex financial operations across multiple geographies, with deep expertise in financial controls, reporting, and strategic planning.
