About the Job

Our client is an established alternative asset management platform in Singapore. The firm manages a diverse portfolio of institutional investment vehicles on behalf of global allocators and sovereign investors.

They are hiring a Finance Director to oversee debt sourcing, capital structuring, and liquidity management to support regional asset acquisitions and portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the underwriting, structuring, and closing of institutional credit lines and syndications to leverage new investments and optimize existing liabilities.
• Formulate cross-border capitalization and entity-level fiscal strategies, translating multi-jurisdictional tax and financial due diligence into actionable deal parameters.
• Oversee the legal and operational execution of debt arrangements, managing funding drawdowns and closing mechanics alongside external counsel.
• Monitor group leverage risk, evaluating debt maturity ladders, interest rate profiles, and debt covenant health to trigger proactive refinancing cycles.
• Design group-wide cash-pooling architectures, fund repatriation pathways, and derivative strategies (swaps/caps) to mitigate interest rate and FX exposure.
• Partner closely with portfolio managers, transaction desks, and legal functions to sync capital calls with deployment schedules.
• Provide strategic oversight, mentorship, and operational performance standards for a high-caliber corporate finance team.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of corporate finance and treasury experience inside Alternative Assets, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), or Private Equity Funds.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related commercial discipline.
• Proven track record of negotiating term sheets and managing lending relationships with institutional banks.
• Deep expertise in cross-border holding vehicle mechanics, tax structuring, and financial due diligence.
• Advanced understanding of liquidity forecasting, cash optimization, and capital hedging tools.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to engage effectively with project developers, legal counsels, and global banks.
• A detail-oriented leader who operates effectively in a high-velocity, transaction-heavy environment.
