About Our Client


Global hospitality group is seeking an experienced Director of Finance & Accounting to lead all financial operations for a large, full‑service property.

Job Description

  • Lead and oversee all hotel financial operations, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and security of financial information and assets
  • Act as the primary point of contact for owners, internal and external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
  • Provide strategic financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to drive profitability and long‑term financial performance
  • Develop, manage, and present annual operating budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Oversee accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit, Payroll, Purchasing, Audit, and Financial Reporting
  • Ensure strong financial controls, ethical accounting practices, and compliance with company policies and local regulations
  • Partner closely with General Management and department heads on pricing strategy, cost controls, capital expenditure, and investment decisions
  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering a high‑performance and collaborative work culture
  • Manage cash flow, inventory controls, credit policies, and collections to optimise liquidity and financial health

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Significant experience in hotel accounting or audit, including at least one year in a senior or supervisory finance role
  • Strong working knowledge of hospitality finance, asset management, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
  • Professional accounting or finance certification preferred
  • Confident leader with strong communication, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen
  • Experience in large properties is highly advantageous
  • Flexible to relocate within Asia
