Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management for decision-making
  • Develop and implement financial policies aligned with corporate objectives
  • Drive cost optimization, capital efficiency, and resource allocation strategies

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions (e.g., HKEX, US GAAP/SEC, PRC A-share where applicable)
  • Manage statutory audits, interim reviews, and internal control processes

3. Cross-Border Financial Management

  • Oversee financial operations across multiple regions and entities
  • Ensure consistency in reporting and compliance across global teams
  • Support international expansion with financial and regulatory risk assessments

4. Internal Controls & Risk Management

  • Establish and maintain strong internal control frameworks (SOX-level where applicable)
  • Oversee end-to-end financial processes (AR/AP, inventory, fixed assets)
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures

5. Financial Digital Transformation

  • Lead ERP and finance system transformation initiatives
  • Drive automation and integration between finance, IT, and business operations
  • Develop real-time financial dashboards and data analytics capabilities

6. Treasury & Working Capital Management

  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital optimization
  • Support funding strategies and capital structure planning
  • Maintain banking and financing relationships

7. M&A and Strategic Transactions

  • Lead financial due diligence for M&A, divestments, and carve-outs
  • Assess financial and tax implications of transactions
  • Support post-merger integration and financial alignment

8. Leadership & Talent Development

  • Build and lead high-performing finance teams across regions
  • Develop succession planning and capability development frameworks
  • Promote cross-cultural collaboration and performance culture

Requirements / Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law (LLB), or related discipline professional qualification (CICPA/CPA/ACCA) preferred.
  2. 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, audit, or corporate financial leadership roles.
  3. Strong expertise in financial reporting, internal controls (SOX), statutory compliance, and cross-border financial management.
  4. Proven experience in IPO readiness, M&A, and complex financial transactions.
  5. Experience in financial digitalization (ERP systems, finance transformation) and leading cross-border teams.
