Overview
A global investment firm is seeking its first finance hire in Asia to establish and lead the Singapore finance function. This is a standalone, high-impact role with regional ownership and close collaboration with global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage the Singapore finance function
- Ensure compliance with MAS and local regulatory requirements
- Oversee financial reporting, audits, and tax filings
- Act as the main liaison with regulators and external partners
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
Requirements
- 7-10 years of finance/accounting experience
- Prior experience dealing with MAS is essential
- Buy-side background preferred (hedge fund/asset management)
- Strong knowledge of Singapore regulations and accounting standards
- Ability to work independently in a lean environment
- Degree in Accounting/Finance CPA/CA/ACCA preferred
