Finance Business Readiness Lead / Buona Vista / Contract
SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance (functional-transformation)Lead to manage the test efforts of Finance and cross-functional projects. For this critical role, we are looking for a hands-on, adept leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with an unrelenting focus on detail and execution quality. You will orchestrate end-to-end strategies across simultaneous projects, navigating a dynamic global environment while building the trusted partnerships essential to long-term success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- UAT Strategy & Delivery: Lead simultaneous Finance and cross-functional UAT initiatives, developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies from planning through completion. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the project lifecycle methodology and the ability to manage testing activities across all phases.
- Testing Planning & Preparation: Manage all aspects of UAT planning, including test scope definition, resource allocation, environment readiness, and entry/exit criteria. Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate complex testing activities across multiple stakeholders.
- Test Execution, Monitoring & Reporting: Drive successful execution by collaborating across UAT partner teams, connecting dependencies and ensuring alignment across workstreams. Analyze results, communicate status effectively, and maintain accountability for issue resolution through strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Documentation & Governance: Develop and maintain UAT processes, methodologies, artifacts, and documentation aligned with industry best practices. Ensure testing governance standards support consistent and high-quality project delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence: Build trusted relationships with business and technology stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to drive alignment and business outcomes.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate testing risks and issues, anticipating downstream impacts and escalating concerns with clarity when necessary. Apply sound business judgment and analytical problem-solving to support timely decision-making.
- Change Management & Communication: Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and readiness while supporting business adoption, implementation activities, and post-deployment reviews. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in both technical and business environments.
- Execution Excellence & Agility: Lead with urgency and adaptability in dynamic and ambiguous environments, providing clear direction and driving projects to successful outcomes through proactive leadership and strong execution focus.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Champion testing best practices, foster knowledge sharing, and identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and ways of working. Demonstrate a passion for innovation and continuous improvement to elevate testing effectiveness across the organization.
EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE
. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
. PMP or ISTQB Foundation /Advanced Level certification is a plus
. SAP experience (FI and SD modules or other major Finance ERP systems)
