A trusted Finance Business Partner to Business Group leadership, providing financial guidance to drive sustainable business performance, advocate for robust governance, and support strategic growth initiatives
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Performance Management
- Co-pilot with Head of Finance Head to develop comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and stretching business plans.
- Deliver timely financial analysis with relevant data and insights to drive Business Unit business performance, strategies and objectives.
- Coordinate monthly performance reports and Operations Financial reviews with Business Unit finance teams. Monitor Business Unit performance, identify gaps in volume, revenue, EBITDA, and Operating and Project costs, and recommend improvement actions.
- Collaborate with Corporate Treasury to optimize working capital and support timely project funding with required ROI.
- Support Business management through in-depth financial analysis for strategic initiatives, key project final investment decisions, and M&As
Financial & Statutory Accounting
- Oversee the Financial Accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial statement close processes for Business Group and subsidiaries.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
- Review contracts for financial compliance and risk mitigation.
- Work closely with Business Group Tax in charge to co-manage inter-Business Unit transfer pricing policies and taxation matters
Corporate Governance & Risk Management
- Drive improvements in business control processes together with Business Unit leadership.
- Ensure alignment with RGE Group policies, embed robust financial risk management practices.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination
- Lead and motivate finance teams based in shared service center to deliver high performance, quality and timely deliverables
- Explore continuous improvements to automate financial processes, drive scalable processes standardization, and enhance efficiency.
- Keep stakeholders informed on progress against key milestones.
- Develop team member capabilities and support Head of Finance to build succession bench strength with clear career progression pathway.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- 812 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in finance/business controlling roles.
- Solid interpersonal and corporate savviness, effective storyteller with the ability to influence business decisions with data driven insights.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards
- Proficient in SAP systems and advance Excel capabilities.
- Excellent business acumen, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
- Proven ability to work across multi-location teams; results-oriented and performance-driven.
