About MetaComp
MetaComp Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based financial services provider, licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) under the Payment Services Act. We operate at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets, providing payment services, digital payment token (DPT) services, card business, and cross-border solutions to institutional and corporate clients across the region.
As the business scales, we are strengthening our finance function with a Finance Business Partner who can operate hands-on across financial planning, commercial analysis, and cross-functional business support.
The Role
The Finance Business Partner will work closely with product, commercial, operations, and leadership teams across our payments, card, and digital asset business lines. The role is expected to be hands-on across financial planning, modelling, data analysis, and cross-functional support, translating financial insight into commercial decisions and supporting the finance function's continued development.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial planning and performance management — Participant in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews for assigned business units, and take ownership of both the underlying analysis and the accompanying commentary.
- Financial modelling and commercial analysis — develop and maintain financial models covering cost simulation, pricing, deal analysis, and scenario planning to support decision-making.
- Data analysis and management reporting — extract, structure, and analyse financial and operational data; design and produce management reports where existing reporting is not available.
- Business partnering — work directly with business heads to understand product economics, review performance, challenge assumptions, and support commercial decisions.
- Strategic and regulatory projects — support product launches, cross-jurisdictional expansion, including preparation of financial analysis and internal documentation.
- Finance process improvement and automation — identify inefficiencies in finance processes and work with technology and operations teams to design and implement automation and system improvements.
- Ad hoc analysis and projects — support the broader finance and leadership teams on ad hoc requests, including business cases, board and investor materials, and internal reviews.

2. Financial modelling and commercial analysis
Strong financial modelling skills, with the ability to build P&L, unit economics, pricing, and scenario models from first principles and to clearly articulate the underlying assumptions. Ability to use financial analysis to support and challenge commercial decisions.
3. Business partnering and stakeholder communication
Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders, provide constructive challenge to business owners, and influence decisions across functions and seniority levels.
