Responsibilities
- Drive the financial evaluation of new project opportunities from RFI to EOP. Develop sophisticated pricing models that incorporate direct material costs, manufacturing overheads, and Capex requirements while mitigating risks related to FX exposure and price erosion.
- Act as the financial architect for end-to-end project management. Deliver robust business case presentations to senior leadership, monitor budget vs. actual performance, and provide fact-based recommendations to optimize long-term project profitability.
- Oversee plant cost accounting, including standard costing and rigorous variance analysis (material, labor, and overhead). Drive cost-saving initiatives by identifying root causes of production inefficiencies and optimizing inventory and fixed asset utilization.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure financial discipline and cost transparency. Manage commercial impacts of discount schemes and rebates to prevent margin leakage.
Professional Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional finance experience, with a strong preference for the Manufacturing or Automotive industries.
- Advanced expertise in Cost Accounting and Project Controlling is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of standard costing methodologies and manufacturing process controls.
- High-level proficiency in SAP (FICO module) is required. Familiarity with SAP SD, MM, or EC-PCA modules is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical capability with the ability to distill complex data into strategic insights. Proven track record of influencing culturally diverse stakeholders and building strong relationships across all organizational levels.
- A self-motivated, result-oriented professional with a can-do mindset and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
