We are partnering with a leading multinational manufacturing business to appoint a Finance Business Partner supporting its Europe & UK operations.
This is a highly commercial role where you'll partner closely with regional business leaders to drive performance, influence strategic decision-making, and deliver meaningful financial insights. The position offers broad exposure across Sales, Operations and R&D within a dynamic international environment.
The role can be based in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, with approximately 50% business travel to support key stakeholders and operations across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with commercial and operational stakeholders across the Europe & UK business to drive performance and business growth.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis, management reporting and KPI dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead monthly business performance reviews, analysing key variances and identifying commercial opportunities and risks.
- Drive business process improvements and operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration.
- Provide financial guidance on cost optimisation, pricing, inventory and operational performance.
- Support risk identification, internal controls and governance initiatives while recommending practical business solutions.
- Work closely with regional and global teams on continuous improvement and transformation projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
- 8+ years experience in commercial business controlling or finance business partnering.
- Strong experience partnering with Sales and Operations to influence commercial decision-making.
- Demonstrated track record in process improvement and cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Experience within manufacturing, trading or export-oriented businesses, with exposure to finished goods export trading being highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information.
