The Role
- This is an in house opportunity within The Adecco Group. -
You will be responsible for FP&A and finance business partnering. You will collaborate and support front office and work closely with GBU finance team.
You can expect to grow and develop as this role involves being a key partner to the Singapore office operation. This is a strategic finance role with influence over business decision making and an opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycle of P&L and cash flow
- Lead monthly financial review and variance analysis to provide financial insights for strategic decision making
- Conduct detailed profitability assessments for new and existing deals, including scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis
- Business partner with front office in evaluating new business deals, pricing models, and margin structures to ensure deals alignment with financial targets and risk appetite.
- Validate financial inputs and tracking deal progress
- Develop financial models and provide valuable analytical insights to facilitate strategic decision making
- Translate financial data into actionable commercial recommendations and identify key business drivers
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities impacting financial performance
- Support finance governance over operational topics in terms of revenue recognition treatment, billing/ invoicing validation, audit trail readiness and accounting/ finance related topics)
- Assist on an ad hoc basis with projects and other reports as needed
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant FP&A and commercial finance experience, ideally with deal/ contract review experience.
- Experience working in matrix organisation across functions and geographies
- Proficient in computer software tools like Microsoft Office and Power BI
- Highly motivated individual who is proactive and take ownership of the tasks
- Strong problem solving and analytical ability
- Good communication (both written and spoken) and presentation skills
- Very meticulous and not afraid of detail-oriented work to make sense of the data
- Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proven expertise in processing and analysing datasets
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage priorities
