About The Role
As a Strategic Finance Business Partner, you will act as a critical extension of the Finance team, partnering closely with the Group CEO and business leaders to drive strategic, data-driven decision-making for the New Business segment.
Dedicated to our new business segment, this role will focus on shaping early-stage strategy, supporting business build-out, and driving sustainable growth across emerging ventures. This role goes beyond traditional finance, you will serve as the strategic interface between Finance and the business, translating financial insights into commercial actions and ensuring business strategies are grounded in financial discipline and value creation. You will play a key role in shaping growth, profitability, and capital allocation decisions, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership.
What You'll Be Doing
- Strategic Leadership & Business Partnering
- Partner closely with the Group CEO and C-suite, and business leaders to shape and execute business strategy
- Act as the key interface between Finance and business units, ensuring alignment between financial goals and commercial priorities
- Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to influence key business decisions
- Financial Strategy & Planning
- Lead end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Drive resource allocation decisions to optimise growth, profitability, and capital efficiency
- Ensure financial discipline while enabling business agility and expansion
- Performance Management & Insights
- Define, track, and optimise key business and financial KPIs
- Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for leadership
- Identify risks, opportunities, and levers to improve performance and drive outcomes
- Decision Support & Commercial Evaluation
- Build robust financial models to assess strategic initiatives, investments, and scenarios
- Evaluate business cases, ROI, and risk for new ventures, partnerships, and market expansion
- Forecasting & Forward-Looking Analytics
- Drive accurate, forward-looking forecasts in collaboration with business teams
- Enable proactive decision-making through scenario planning and sensitivity analysis
- Leadership & Influence
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, challenging assumptions and driving accountability
- Influence cross-functional teams to align on financial and strategic priorities
What You'll Need to Succeed
- 8–12 years of experience in finance, with strong exposure to strategic finance / FP&A / investment or corporate finance
- Proven track record in Fintech / SaaS / high-growth environments; experience in DeFi / Web3 ecosystems would be highly advantageous
- Demonstrated experience operating as a business-facing finance leader or right-hand to CEO
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, profitability, and risk
- Deep expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and performance analytics
- Ability to translate financial insights into business strategy and actions
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence to engage and influence senior leadership
- A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities and a bias for action
