Leveraging ByteDance's cutting-edge technologies, we are devoted to developing innovative products and solutions to shape the future. About Finance BP: Finance BP team is a sub-department of Finance. It aims to improve management efficiency, reduce financial risks and strengthen budget control by providing business analysis and management reports. Responsibilities: - Work closely with business team and strategy team, provide optimized financial solutions or advice to support business requirements. - Prepare and review managerial budget and rolling forecasts track financial performance and conduct related financial analysis. - Collaborate with the Platform team to build and refine finance-related processes that support new business initiatives, improve efficiency, and control business risk. - Review non-standard deals and contracts/agreements and assess risks and exposures in accordance with Company accounting policy. - Evaluate the reasonableness of finance-related processes, including but not limited to quotation, coupons, and billing adjustments. - Determine revenue recognition rules for different business scenarios and assess the reasonableness of cloud-product metering and billing. - Prepare monthly journal entries for revenue and accounts receivable accounts as part of the monthly close. - Conduct budget control, engage in business operations, and review project applications review and approve contracts, payments, and procurement from a financial perspective. - Perform special ad hoc projects and analysis on a frequent basis, with focus on revenue accounting as well as order-to-cash cycles.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s): - At least 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, as a Finance Business Partner, or in audit/advisory at a professional services firm with a strong performance track record. - Strong technical finance expertise, particularly in revenue accounting, accounts receivable (AR) management, and order-to-cash (O2C) processes. - Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to effectively influence business partners, as well as the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions. - Proficiency in Mandarin is essential, as the role requires frequent communication with Chinese stakeholders in Mandarin-speaking markets. - Experience with contract/agreement review, non-standard deal assessment, or finance process design and optimization in a technology company. Preferred Qualification(s): - A good understanding of the cloud computing industry relevant experience in SaaS/PaaS/IaaS companies is highly valued. - Skilled in leveraging AI tools, with hands-on experience applying AI to automate real-world finance tasks. - Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA.
