The Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance AVP/VP with strong clinical finance expertise to lead our client's financial operations, support service-line performance, and drive robust financial oversight across the organization. This newly created position offers the unique opportunity to build and shape the finance function while working closely with executive and clinical leaders.
This is a hands-on roleideal for someone who thrives in both strategic and operational finance and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to implement processes, develop reporting frameworks, and deliver accurate, insightful financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the financial strategy
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Build and implement robust financial controls, reporting tools, and analytical frameworks
- Provide clear, data-driven insights to support executive decision-making
- Manage month-end close, financial statements, and audit preparation
- Support business cases for capital investments, and growth initiatives
About You
- Proven experience in a senior finance role within the health care or clinical services sector
- Strong understanding of costing models, and service-line analytics
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a hands-on capacity within a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills
- Track record of building or enhancing financial systems, processes, or reporting
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
