Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end accounting management for real estate development, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets, and project costs. Participate actively in cost accumulation, expense allocation, and progress accounting throughout various project stages, ensuring financial accuracy aligns with project status. Account for costs associated with consultants and contractors, encompassing project management, legal, engineering fees, and contractor payments. Prepare and review financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, assisting management in financial analysis, cost control, and cash flow oversight. Manage local tax matters for real estate projects and support compliance reviews, tax filings, and audits. Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions, ensuring regulations are met and documentation is prepared for audits. Propose enhancements to financial processes and internal controls, supporting efficient management of multiple entities and projects simultaneously.

Requirements

1. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA / ACCA / CA or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in real estate or project-based sectors. Knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations in Singapore and Malaysia experience with cross-border accounting is advantageous. Strong ability to work independently with financial reporting, demonstrating numerical sensitivity and logical reasoning. Highly responsible and capable of adapting to project-driven deadlines and periodic work pressures.
