Job Summary
Support daily accounting and finance functions by managing payables and receivables, preparing invoices and payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and monitoring collections to ensure timely cash flow.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to maintain accurate financial flow
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts to support accounting operations
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records and filing systems for audit readiness
- Monitor outstanding payments and proactively follow up on collections to optimize cash flow
- Assist in daily accounting and finance operations to support team efficiency and compliance
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles to ensure accurate financial processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software to perform accounting tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy to maintain reliable financial records
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently to support operational continuity
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience to enhance task execution
- Experience with accounting systems such as Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB to improve software handling
- Knowledge of GST and local compliance regulations to support statutory requirements
