Finance and Operations Manager

We're seeking a hands-on Finance and Operations Manager to take ownership of our financial operations while supporting business growth initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done.

You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving process improvements. Beyond traditional finance responsibilities, you'll work cross-functionally to support business operations, manage budgets, and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains. Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Oversee accounts payable and receivables, revenue bookkeeping, and cash management
  • Manage month-end closing, financial reporting, and reconciliations
  • Handle treasury matters and payroll processing
  • Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support strategic financial planning initiatives

Operations & Business Partnering

  • Support sales operations, including pipeline management and commissions computation
  • Collaborate with departments on new initiatives, products, and processes
  • Handle administrative activities as needed
  • Lead ad-hoc projects, including systems implementation

Systems Management

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of our CRM platform
  • Oversee cap table management platform implementation and maintenance
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across financial and operational systems
  • Train team members on CRM and cap table platform usage
  • Configure and optimize systems to support business processes

Process Improvement

  • Identify and execute opportunities for process automation and improvements
  • Enhance efficiency and strengthen financial controls

Qualifications and Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 4-5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong proficiency with accounting software and financial systems
  • Professional certifications (CPA or ACCA) are highly desirable

Technical Skills

  • Strong ability to advise, influence, and collaborate with senior management and other departments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
