Finance and Fund Operations Associate

Job Description

You will coordinate daily operations with our external fund administrator, managing NAV calculations, portfolio valuations, and trade reconciliations. Working closely with auditors, you will support monthly management accounts, quarterly financial statements, and annual audit cycles while maintaining internal financial records and expense tracking.

Your regulatory responsibilities include coordinating MAS filings, maintaining compliance registers, and ensuring statutory deadlines are met. On the legal front, you will coordinate with external counsel on fund documentation, review investor side letter requests, and maintain our document repository. Vendor management forms a crucial part of your role-managing relationships with multiple service providers, coordinating deliverables against service level agreements, and identifying operational efficiencies as we scale.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business disciplines, with professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA being advantageous. We're looking for all experience levels from junior to mid-career, preferably someone with exposure to corporate accounting, fund administration, audit, or fund operations roles. Strong analytical skills and understanding of fund accounting principles are essential, and further familiarity with regulatory requirements are beneficial.

We seek candidates with excellent coordination skills who can manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail. You should be a self-starter comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment, with strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively bridging stakeholders, investors, service providers, and regulators.
