Responsibilities
Team Introduction: In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payment Finance team builds a world class platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide. You will join our overseas payment and financial business, a rapidly expanding and licensed financial operation with a compliant foundation. The role is positioned closer to accounting BP / business partnering than traditional accounting, with exposure to core business decisions, regulatory entity management, financial forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple legal entities. The position offers extensive exposure, a collaborative team environment and cross-team cooperation. Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end accounting for overseas financial businesses, participate in contract and solution design, and provide accounting analyses aligned with relevant standards. - Issue accounting BRDs, build accounting operation workflows and internal controls, promote automation, and participate in monthly financial close and reporting. - Prepare and submit regulatory data for licensed financial entities, monitor key indicators, and perform data movement analysis and explanations. - Support tax inspection materials, audit coordination, corporate governance documentation, and associated business communications. - Build efficient and flexible forecasting models for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow of financial entities, with clear metric systems and data rules aligned to business operations. - Conduct monthly budget vs. actual tracking, performance analysis, and forecast output. - Establish conversion rules between accrual accounting and cash settlement, design monitoring metrics, and support funding requirement planning. - Design, manage, and analyze related-party and intercompany business transactions across responsible entities, ensuring commercial substance and operational compliance. - Build operational capabilities for related-party accounting, including automated consolidation and elimination processes, rationality monitoring, and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. - 5+ years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting roles. - Strong logical thinking, high numerical sensitivity, and ability to solve complex problems independently. - Responsible, proactive, self-driven, and able to work under pressure. - Strong communication skills with the ability to identify issues and drive resolution. - Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with ERP systems proficiency in Mandarin is essential given the role involves frequent communication with Chinese stakeholders based in Chinese-speaking markets and the need to read reports in Mandarin. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience as an Accounting Business Partner (BP) in the payment/fintech industries. - Background in Group Company financial analysis and related-party transaction management. - Financial analysis experience in financial services or fintech companies. - Proficiency in data tools such as SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, or Hive. - Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, CMA. - Experience handling complex financial models, forecasting, or multi-entity financial operations.
