This is a broad role within a lean team, covering corporate finance, fund operations, fund administrator coordination, reporting, reconciliations, and day-to-day support to the investment strategy. The role would suit someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a buildout environment where responsibilities may sit across both finance and operations.

- Support day-to-day finance and operations for a newly established public markets strategy
- Manage corporate finance and finance operations matters, including payments, invoices, expense tracking, cash management, accounting support, audit coordination, tax/GST matters and management reporting
- Oversee fund operations workflows, including NAV review, fund administrator coordination, reconciliations, subscriptions/redemptions, trade support, settlements, cash movements and corporate actions where required
- Work closely with the investment team, functional leads, external fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel, compliance providers, brokers and custodians
- Support financial reporting, investor reporting, regulatory reporting and internal management reporting requirements
- Assist with fund expenses, accruals, fee calculations, fund documentation and operational controls
- Help build and improve internal processes, workflows, reporting templates and controls as the platform continues to scale
- Ensure finance and operational processes are completed accurately and within required timelines in a fast-moving investment environment
- Provide broader finance, operations and investment support where required
Requirements for the Finance & Operations Associate, Public Markets:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or a related field
- At least 6 years of relevant experience across finance, accounting, fund operations or investment operations
- Prior experience within a hedge fund, boutique asset manager, family office, MAS-licensed fund manager, public markets platform or investment management environment would be preferred
- Qualifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, CFA, CAIA, CMFAS or similar licensing would be viewed positively
- Mandarin capability would be beneficial given the market coverage of the role
- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Comfortable working in a lean team environment with broad responsibilities across finance, operations, reporting and process buildout
- Practical, hands-on and motivated by platform building rather than a narrow finance or operations remit
