Sir Manasseh Meyer International School is seeking an experienced and proactive Finance & Administration Manager to join our team on an 8-month maternity cover contract, with the possibility of an extension based on the school's operational needs.

Accounts Receivable
- Manage student billing and fee collection processes.
- Generate statements of accounts, and send payment reminders to parents.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
- Liaise with parents regarding payment matters, and financial queries.
- Maintain accurate records of all collections and receivables.
Accounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices, staff claims, reimbursements, and payments accurately and on time.
- Ensure all supporting documentation and approvals are properly obtained.
- Maintain vendor records and coordinate with suppliers regarding payment matters.
Cash Flow& Banking
- Monitor daily cash flow and school bank balances.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Coordinate online banking transactions and ensure proper financial controls are followed.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
- Assist with budget tracking, expenditure monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Support leadership with financial data and reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with school policies and Singapore regulatory requirements.
Audit & Compliance
- Support annual audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with financial procedures, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
- Assist with CPF submissions, IRAS matters, and other regulatory filings where required.
Financial Assistance
- Administer financial assistance programmes and maintain confidential student financial records.
- Monitor subsidy allocations and ensure accurate application to student accounts.
IT Operations & Support
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of IT team of the school.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related matters within the school.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers for technical support and maintenance.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT support requests from staff and administration.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in finance and administration, preferably within an educational environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Singapore statutory requirements.
- Experience handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, and audits.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (SAGE 300) and Microsoft Office applications.
