A family medicine clinic striving to provide holistic and accessible healthcare in a heart of the Dawson estate.

Job Summary

You will lead comprehensive financial and corporate secretarial functions to ensure accurate payroll, accounting, compliance, and reporting. Your expertise will support strategic business planning and operational efficiency in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll accurately, including salaries, allowances, CPF submissions, and annual IR8A reporting to ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Manage Accounts Receivable by issuing invoices, processing bill adjustments, and coordinating collections through GIRO, cash, TPA, law firms, and insurance to optimize cash flow
  • Oversee Accounts Payable by processing vendor invoices and payments promptly to maintain supplier relationships
  • Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns in compliance with tax regulations
  • Prepare corporate tax computations and filings aligned with IRAS requirements to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Develop financial statements and quarterly management reports to inform leadership decision-making
  • Assist with budgeting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis
  • Monitor cash flow, clinic collections, and insurance claims to support financial health and operational continuity
  • Provide financial projections and margin/expansion analysis to guide strategic business planning
  • Execute full corporate secretarial duties including statutory reporting and filings under the Companies Act, drafting resolutions and meeting minutes, maintaining statutory registers and records, and performing annual e-filing with ACRA and e-stamping with IRAS
  • Manage ad-hoc finance, accounting, and compliance tasks as assigned to support organizational needs

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, Chartered Accountant, or CPA certification
  • Proficiency in payroll processing and management of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
  • Experience with statutory reporting, ACRA/IRAS e-filing, and corporate secretarial duties
  • Competence in preparing GST reports and performing financial reconciliations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar finance and corporate secretarial role
  • Experience working in healthcare or clinic settings
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills
